Getting fat or keeping fit?


There are some people who want to get fat- Japanese Sumo wrestlers, for example. Their typical meal is a mixture of rice, vegetables,and meat and it is called chankonabe. Although it is considered to be a healthy meal, it still has a lot of calories.

You can imagine how hard is to throw a heavy man on the floor! This is why Sumo wrestlers consume a lot of food and go to bed straight after eating, Some Sumo wrestlers weigh 250 kg, and some of them weigh even 280 kg!

However, the majority of the population want to keep their weight down. In the UK and the USA, doctors are worried that a lot of the teenagers are overweight.

It is well known that teenagers often eat unhealthy food and spend a lot of time sitting in front of the television or the computer.

Here are some tips that you can use to get healthier:

Have some fruits or some veggies in every meal.

Eat five small meals a day, instead of three large meals.

Don't forget the snacks! Have some grapes or an apple.

Replace the junk food with some rice or some pasta.

Keep your body hydrated and drink a lot of water or a fruit juice if you want some

sweet drink.

Do some exercise! Not only you burn a lot of calories, but it also makes you fit. So come on- get up and ride your bike, swim, dance, go for a walk. Do whatever makes you happy!

And last but not least remember that there is no need to be skinny! Enjoy your food, have fun while exercising, and take care of your body.
